In this tutorial we'll create the home icon with Windows Vista look. Big size, crisp line and subtlety are typical traits of a Windows Vista icon. Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. |

Press Ctrl+T to get the transform handles. |

| Rotate as shown. |

| Press Ctrl+J to duplicate the layer. Press Ctrl+T. Right click and select Flip Horizontal. |

| Move it towards right using right arrow key on your key board or press shift and move using mouse. |

| You can rotate the layers further till you're satisfied with the output. |

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

Duplicate the layer and Press Ctrl+T to Transform. |

| Scale it down a bit and place it as shown below. |

| Change the fill color to another shade of brown. |

| Select polygon shape tool (U). |

| At the options bar on top, set the number of sides 3. |

| Using this tool, create a triangular shape. |

| Select Direct selection tool. Click to select bottom left node and move towards left. |

| Reduce the opacity to 33% from layer palette. |

| Press Ctrl+J, move a few pixels upwards. Now keep pressing Ctrl+J and Shift+Ctrl+T several times to create the design as shown. |

| Create a rectangle for the window using rectangular shape tool. |

| Create another smaller rectangle inside the previous one using rectangular shape tool. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Duplicate the layer thrice and adjust as shown. |

| Create a rectangle for the gate using rectangular shape tool. |
